Regulations of the SGAE

The SGAE's Regulations represent the basic rules applicable provided there is no conflict with the provisions contained in the Society's Articles of Association. They regulate all the Regulatory Commissions, Professional Committees, Working Parties, the registration of works, collection management and the SGAE's systems for sharing out copyright fees.

SGAE's Articles of Association

The Articles of Association are the basic rules approved by the members of the SGAE to govern its operation, as a supplement to general legislation. They were approved by a Resolution from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport on February 26nd, 2021. In essence, the Articles of Association regulate the Society's nature, the conditions for acquiring and losing the status of member, its organs of governance, the criteria for obtaining votes and the electoral system.
