Choose license Do I need to have a licence to open up a radio station?

Since a radio broadcast without any music is very boring, you will need the permission of the copyright holders to include music. As it is impossible to obtain permission individually, this licence will enable you to use the entire musical repertoire administered by the SGAE in your broadcasts.
