You onli need: 1. Fill in the application 2. A recent passport-sized photograph 3. A photocopy of your ID card, Passport... 4. Confirmation that you are no longer registered in other Society 5. Pay 15 euros 6. Register at least one of the works of which you are the author and already has been published​




1. To become a member of the SGAE we need you to fill in the application form provided below: Application form for Authors


  • Please check you put in your complete e-mail address and write in capital letters
  • Send us both copies of the management contract included with the application form so that we can send one of them back to you after you have been registered as a member of the SGAE

2. A recent passport-sized photograph of you

3. A photocopy of your ID card, Passport, Resident's Permit or any other legal document accrediting your date of birth, nationality and residence

4. If you are coming from another copyright management body, you will also have to provide us with a document from that other body confirming that you are no longer registered with it for those rights and/or territories you want our Society to manage on your behalf

5. Pay a one-off fee of 15 euros

This payment will be made only once and you can pay it in cash at any of our Offices or by bank transfer. In this latter case, you should also submit a copy of the receipt for the transfer (*)

6. Fill in your works in the corresponding register declaration.
